Guidelines for Authors

Research, policy and opinion leaders across the spectrum, including youth and creative thinkers, as well as from international scholars concerned with the future of development and the role of the academy in shaping futures are invited to submit a brief on matters of global public interest. The submission will go through a double-blind peer review process involving at least two reviewers who will be selected based on the theme of the contribution. Contributors may therefore be asked to make adjustments to their submission before it is published online and in a printed format based on the results of the review process.
Briefs should be submitted in English, Microsoft Word format and text double-spaced, with consecutively numbered pages having one-inch margins on all sides Text should appear in 12-point Times New Roman font and should not exceed 3000 words. A summary/abstract of not more than 200-250 words should accompany each brief. Please ensure footnotes and suggested readings or references are also provided.
Publication content and review standards:
The series would seek to be a hybrid between technical policy briefs, intellectual exploration, advocacy and creative reflection on policy issues. The submissions will be subject to a blind peer review process.
The review process may take up to three weeks with an editorial turnaround time for publication after review of a maximum of four to six weeks.
Please ensure that each submission clearly identifies the name, position and email address of the corresponding author and includes a bio sketch of the author(s). Completed briefs should be submitted electronically to the Editorial Advisor and Steering Committee Chair.
